Faceless Studio ("we", "us") is a web service operated from Chile that turns a topic or a script into a short vertical video. This policy explains what data we collect, why, who processes it for us, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address from Google; we never see your Google password.
- What you create: the topics, descriptions and scripts you type, the options you choose (format, language, voice, style) and the videos, thumbnails and scripts the service generates for you.
- Usage records: when a video was requested and how much it cost us to generate it. We use this to run and price the service. It is never shown to other users.
- Billing data: your plan, the identifiers of your customer and subscription at Paddle, and the dates of your billing period. Paddle collects your billing address and payment details; we never receive your card number.
- Connected channels: if you connect a YouTube channel, the channel id and name and the access token Google issues to us, stored encrypted, plus a record of each video you upload (video id and link).
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type, used to protect accounts against abuse (rate limits, login attempt limits) and to serve the site.
We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data.
Cookies and local storage
We use one session cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days, and short-lived cookies during the sign-in with Google and the connection of a YouTube channel. Your browser also stores your language and theme preference locally. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits to the site without cookies and without identifying you. No third-party advertising cookies.
Who processes your data for us
To generate a video, parts of what you type are sent to the providers that do the work. Each receives only what it needs:
- Cloudflare (United States): hosting, storage of your videos and files, security, analytics and, as a fallback, image generation.
- Anthropic (United States): writes the script from your topic, or adds visuals and metadata to your own script.
- Microsoft Azure (United States / Europe) and ElevenLabs (United States, premium voices only): turn the script into speech.
- Runware and fal.ai (United States): generate the images of each scene from short descriptions derived from the script.
- Pexels: search of stock background clips using short keywords derived from the script.
- Resend: sends verification and password-reset emails.
- Paddle (United Kingdom / United States): our merchant of record. Paddle processes payments, invoices and taxes and is an independent controller of the billing data you give it, under its own privacy policy. We share with Paddle your email address and account id so it can link the purchase to your account.
- Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google", to confirm your email address; and only if you connect a YouTube channel, to upload the videos you ask us to upload.
Your account details are not shared with these providers except as required for the function described.
Google user data and YouTube
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the YouTube access you grant only to read the name of your channel and to upload the videos you explicitly choose to upload. We do not read your other videos, comments or analytics, we do not share this access with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. You can revoke it at any time from Settings in the app or from your Google account permissions; revoking it deletes the token on our side.
The YouTube upload uses YouTube API Services; see also the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
How long we keep data
Your account, videos and usage records are kept while your account exists. When an account is deleted, its videos, files and connected-channel tokens are removed from storage. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Backups of the database are kept for up to 30 days and then expire.
Your rights
You can download your videos at any time from the app. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and everything linked to it by writing to contact@faceless-studio.com from the email address of the account. We answer within 10 business days. Chilean law on personal data (Law 19.628 and its successors) applies; if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place whose law gives you additional rights, those rights also apply. International transfers to the providers above are necessary to provide the service you request.
Children
The service is for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, sessions use secure cookies, connections are encrypted, tokens for connected channels are encrypted at rest, and the engine that generates videos never holds your account credentials. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app.
